Altered Planner

Oh my, how I love planners! It’s a little bit of an obsession, actually. I love to plan out my days (okay, I HAVE to plan out my days – have I mentioned I’m a tad bit OCD?) and there’s no better canvas to do that than a planner you’ve crafted yourself.

I’ve made my own planner for the last few years (though last year, I succumbed to time pressures and used a purchased one. It’s just not the same). I love the whole process of creating a planner!

So, here is a look at some of the planners I’ve created over the years. If you have any questions about how I did something, leave a comment or email me and I’ll be glad to help!

I used a K&Co Gate Fold album for this planner. I don’t think they make them anymore, but this Rusty Pickle album would be awesome to use! Lots of patterned paper and ribbons, plus a retired CTMH calendar stamp made this an easy and fun project!

If you want to see the rest of this planner, just let me know! I have lot of pics of it.

Then I made this fun planner, using a 6×12 spiral album, Chatterbox paper, and again more ribbon. Yep, I have an obsession with ribbon too.

An easy option for a handmade calendar is to use a 5.5" x 8.5" binder and decorate the covers and insides. That’s what I did for this planner.

For 2009? I’m looking to alter a weekly calendar that Close To My Heart sells. I’ve decided life is a little too busy right now to use a monthly planner, so the weekly one will be better. I’ll post as I alter it – it may be a work in progress…

So, there you have it – a plethora of planners, a cache of calendars….however you say it, it’s all good. I’d love to see what *you’ve* done with a planner! Share a link with me and let me see…

Thanks for stopping by! Go alter something!
